Another year and another fun and important food and gift delivery to six families in need.  On December 22, 2018, Samuel Warren Hackett Lodge's Brethren and ladies gathered, to deliver food and gifts to help six families who are not as fortunate as we are and who would not have a good Christmas without the generosity of others.  This year, as each year, the families that needed help were chosen by our partner in education, Sequoia Elementary School.  Worshipful Jim Achenbach, PM, organizes this event each year and all the ladies and Brethren are eager to volunteer to furnish food for the table and gifts for the children of the families involved.  Each family will receive all the food that makes up a great Christmas dinner, as well as great new gifts for their children.

The gathering of the Brothers the Ladies and the food begins.

More food and gifts for the families are in the trunks and ready for delivery.  Each volunteer driver will deliver to two families.

Two more families will have a nice dinner and good gifts for the kids.

And this makes a total of six.  It would be so nice if we could do this for more families..

One more pictures of the great group before the drivers head out..

Thank you all for your wonderful assistance.

and we'll see you next year.

Merry Christmas
